Interestingly Durres, rather than Tirana, is the rail hub of the nation. Also, the train is not very highly regarded. It's said the train is for people who can't afford the bus. Which may be how when I asked for four round-trip trains tickets and gave the guy 500 leke ($5) he gave me all 4 tickets and change.
